Awaiting 2012!!
2012 is expected to be year of great positive change. It is not the end of the world! Back in 1899 something was identified called Schumann Cavity Resonance. It is the heart beat or frequency of the Earth. Since its discovery till 1986 this heart beat frequency was constant 7.8 Hertz per second. From 1986 it started to raise dramatically and in 1998 it was reported to be 10 hertz per second. On other hand magnetics of the earth are dropping dramatically and it is expected they will reach zero point in 2012. Maya calendar and other calendars end in 2012, but it is not the end of the world just beginning of the new one since every 26000 years Earth goes through grand cycle of evolution.

WORD SPY
WORD SPY is a site devoted to "lexpionage," or "the sleuthing of new words and phrases." Word Spy only lists words that have appeared in multiple reliable sources -- newspapers, magazines, web sites -- and cites those sources. One recent new word is "mobisode" meaning, "A short program, or the edited highlights from a longer program, designed to be watched on a small, mobile screen such as a digital media player or a mobile phone," which has appeared in well-respected publications like The Toronto Sun and The New York Times. Word Spy is a very useful site for getting the skinny on new words that have entered the English vernacular via popular media. On more than one occasion I've turned to Word Spy for a definition of a word I'd never heard before.

30 Tips For A Better Life
1. Take a 10-30 minutes walk every day. And while you walk,
smile.
2. Sit in silence for at least 10 minutes each day..
3. Sleep for 7 hours.
4. Live with the 3 E’s — Energy, Enthusiasm, and Empathy.
5. Play more games.
6. Read more books than you did .
7. Make time to practice meditation, yoga, and prayer. They
provide us with daily fuel for our busy lives.
8. Spend time with people over the age of 70 & under
the age of 6.
9. Dream more while you are awake.
10. Eat more foods that grow on trees and plants and eat
less food that is manufactured in plants.
11. Drink plenty of water.
12. Try to make at least three people smile each day.
13. Don’t waste your precious energy on gossip.
14. Forget issues of the past. Don’t remind your
partner with his/her mistakes of the past. That will ruin your present happiness.
15. Don’t have negative thoughts or things you cannot
control. Instead invest your energy in the positive present moment.
16. Realize that life is a school and you are here to
learn. Problems are simply part of the curriculum that appear and fade away like

How to write a resume
A resume - sometimes called a ‘Curriculum Vitae’ or ‘CV’ - is a summary of your skills, education and work experience. A good resume demonstrates how your skills and abilities match up with the requirements of a job.
Resumes give you the opportunity to sell yourself to a potential employer. A resume is not an exhaustive list - if it’s too long it probably won’t get read at all. The best resumes are usually no longer than one or two pages.
You should change your resume with every job application so that it lists the skills and experiences you have that are most relevant to the job you’re applying for.
Things to include on a resume?
While things like your academic record and work experience are typical ways to show how suited you are to a particular job, these are not the only things you should include. There are other ways to demonstrate that you are the right person for the job, including your:
* Personal traits - you’re an honest worker, you enjoy being part of a big team
* Strengths - things you’re good at or enjoy
* Experiences - volunteering or extracurricular activities
* Key responsibilities and achievements - any awards or recognition that you’ve received

The structure of your resume will vary depending on your work experience and education and training background.
A resume usually sets out information in a reverse order. Your most recent work experience and study details should be first on the list.
A typical resume includes:
* Personal details - Full name and contact details including address, telephone number(s) and email address.
* Education and training - A summary of your education and training history, starting with your most recent studies, making

Blind man bowls a perfect game
A 78-year-old man nicknamed “The Hammer” has bowled a perfect game. Dale Davis nailed 12 consecutive strikes and reached 300 on Saturday night during league play. What's more astonishing is that Davis is also legally blind! Davis has suffered from macular degeneration, a chronic eye disease, for the past decade. He can’t see out of his left eye and has limited peripheral vision in his right eye.
Davis’ perfect game came at a roll-off to conclude the league season at a four-lane alley in the small northwest Iowa community of about 1,800 people. Century Lanes owner Clem Ledoux said Davis’ game didn’t draw much attention until he reached 10 strikes. That’s when folks poured out of the bar to watch his final two shots.
Davis, who stands 5-foot-8 and just 115 pounds, threw a “Brooklyn,” where a right-hander strikes the left side of the head pin, for his final strike. The feat brought wild cheers from Davis’ fellow bowlers and onlookers. “It went down there and somebody hollered ‘Brooklyn!’ It was just a solid sound in the pocket,” said Davis, whose average score is 180. Its really fabulous.
In the past, he had come close before, once throwing 11 strikes before pulling the 12th ball and settling for a 299. But that was many years ago. Before he had half his stomach removed because of a tumor. Before he had a bypass done on his left leg to improve his circulation. And before he had lost his vision in 1997.
Davis sister encouraged him to start bowling again. "I told her, 'I can't see,'" Davis said. "'What makes you think I can bowl?' But she convinced me and, for the second time in my life, I was hooked." Davis now bowls twice a week, and his fellow bowlers help him with pin placement and in making sure he picks up the right ball.

World's smallest park
Read this its really amazing!!!!!!!!!!
Mill Ends Park is the smallest park in the world located in the middle of Front Avenue, one of the busiest streets in Portland. Unbelievably, the park only measured 452 square inches, barely two feet across.
Fagan wrote a popular column called Mill Ends (rough, irregular pieces of lumber left over at lumber mills). He used this column to describe the park and the various "events" that occurred there. Fagan billed the space as the "World's Smallest Park." The park was dedicated on St. Patrick's Day in 1948 . He continued to write about activities in the park until he died in 1969.
The Guinness Book of Records granted it the title of "world's smallest park" in 1971. After Mill Ends officially became a city park on St. Patrick’s Day in 1976, the park continued to be the site of St. Patrick's Day festivities. Over the years, contributions have been made to the park, such as the small swimming pool and diving board for butterflies, many statues, a miniature Ferris wheel (which was brought in by a normal-sized crane), and the occasional flying saucer. The events held here include concerts by Clan Macleay Pipe Band, picnics, and rose plantings by the Junior Rose Festival Court.

Federer wins
Roger Federer won in his first match at the Cincinnati Masters.He was very happy that he could turn it around with a one match winning streak.
Ginepri was 0-4 against the top-ranked Swiss going into the match, but pressured him through two sets until Federer wore him down and Ginepri began missing with his first serve.
This is Federer's second tournament since having his Wimbledon title streak , broken by second-ranked Nadal. A week ago, Federer was ousted from the Toronto Masters in the second round, and his No. 1 ranking would have been in danger if that had happened again this week.
Nadal could still overtake Federer if the Spaniard wins the Cincinnati title and the Swiss star loses before the semifinals.

Tesla
Nikola Tesla (Serbian scientist) the greatest genius since Leonardo daVinci. Few people even know that man who invented the 20 th century even existed. His ideas and inventions were credited by others. His inventions include X-rays (credited to Roentgen), radio (credited to Marconi), the microwave oven, speedometer, automobile ignition system, basics behind radar, fluorescent bulb, electron microscope, neon lights and on top of all Tesla designed the first hydro-electric power plant in Niagara Falls (invented alternating currents).On his credit we have the unit tesla .Tesla had biggest competitor Thomas Edison, who did everything to prove Tesla wrong and to erase him from history books. Tesla's ideas were so extreme that scientist community thought he was lunatic. He believed that both voice and image could be transmitted through the air (in the late 1800's), which of course was true since we have wireless Internet today. But he was not recognised as Edison.

Failed rocket launch disappoints experts
HAWTHORNE -- The founder of a privately funded space transportation company in California says he is disappointed by its third consecutive failed rocket launch.
The Wall Street Journal said the failure has prompted concerns about how space officials will handle the possibility they may not be able to rely on inexpensive Falcon launchers from Space Exploration Technologies Corp.
Musk said it was "a big disappointment not to reach orbit" Saturday, adding that an unfortunate "problem occurred with stage separation, causing the stages to be held together."
Musk said the company was investigating what went wrong with the Falcon 1 launch, which took place at the Kwajalein Atoll in the western Pacific Ocean.
The newspaper said two previous Falcon 1 launches, in 2006 and 2007, also were unsuccessful.
